Nobody likes to have surgery but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and do it.
I gave my knee two months to get better after my last triathlon. But the pain with deep
bending persisted. Finally, I got an MRI  and there was a meniscus tear.

Well, I wanted to run again so I had laparoscopic  surgery one week ago. Had the same operation at age 40. Takes a bit longer to recover at age 60.  Still using one crutch.

My patients were surprised to see their gynecologist limping into the room to do their yearly exams.
But you gotta to what you gotta do.

They say doctors and nurses make the worst patients and I'm probably proving that. But let's pull together and do the best to correct what we can. Good luck in overcoming adversity. Have a great day.
